Shimul Rahim

Board of Directors

Shimul Rahim is a writer with a 25-year career in software development. She has 10 years of experience at Google, including a leadership role within the UX Writing community. She served for several years as a volunteer for the Bay Area Book Festival and the Hedgebrook Leadership Council. She also worked with the Berkeley Public Library Foundation on events and fundraising campaigns. Shimi holds degrees in English and Chinese language and literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently working on a novel, an excerpt of which was published in Clockhouse.
