Dewey is a historian, archivist, mapmaker and photographer who has worked in California and Marin County for five decades. Long associated with the Jack Mason Museum of West Marin History in Inverness, Dewey is currently finishing a comprehensive book on the history of Point Reyes and Tomales Bay.  This book, which he worked on at Mesa Refuge, is also influenced by his own experience living in West Marin for the past 50 years. Dewey has three grown children and lives with his wife, Kerry, in Inverness.
