Redwing Keyssar

Redwing (she/her) is a palliative care clinician, author, poet, and educator on end-of-life care. As a nurse and midwife to the dying, she offers her perspective on how to live fully, understand impermanence and advocate for changes in the healthcare system. Redwing is director of patient and caregiver education at the MERI Center for Education in Palliative Care at UCSF. While in residence, she worked on her second book, Poetic Medicine: An Instrument for Healing and Social Justice.
