A veteran of film and television productions for many years, in 2013, Jono wrote and directed the feature film Home. It is the story of a man struggling with mental illness and rebuilding his life, which was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Directing. Jono has directed numerous episodes of television shows including The Endgame, Blacklist, American Soul, The Enemy Within, Law & Order: SVU, and Chicago Fire. He currently lives in Los Angeles and upstate New York. At the Mesa Refuge, he worked to adapt Home into a TV series.
