Gwen is Audubon Canyon Ranch’s director of education and resident biologist at the Martin Griffin Preserve since 2002. She teaches Natural History – from parasites and slime molds to bird song and mammal tracks. Her love of marine biology propelled her out of the business world and back to graduate school where she completed a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science & Management / Applied Ecology. Gwen is the recipient of the 2017 Terwilliger Environmental Award. Her essay, Sunday School, appears in Nature Love Medicine. She is the West Marin Community Fellow nominated by Audubon Canyon Ranch.
