Natalieis a pro bono mentor attorney at Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project in Arizona. Previously, she was an Equal Justice Works fellow at the American Bar Association’s South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project, a staff attorney at the San Antonio Region Justice for Our Neighbors and a protection associate for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Tucson. She has represented ICE detainees, unaccompanied children, families subjected to the Guatemalan Asylum Cooperative Agreement program, and individuals in the Remain in Mexico program. At the Mesa Refuge, Natalie is writing about the ways U.S. lawyers can support Mexican litigators to challenge U.S. border policies in Mexican courts.
