Tomas Leach is an award-winning filmmaker from the UK. His first feature documentary In No Great Hurry, about legendary photographer Saul Leiter, was released to critical acclaim. His second, The Lure, explored a wild treasure hunt in the Rockies. Tomas has directed films with gold winning Olympians and prison baseball teams, and commercials for Adidas, NASA, and Ikea. Tomas is currently preparing two narrative features from his own screenplays. At Mesa, he worked on his film about people who listen to birds; each character grappling with philosophical, scientific, spiritual, and emotional ideas of what listening does for our understanding of the world, and of ourselves.
