Tavia Stewart is a Bay Area writer, immersive storyteller, creative placemaker and nonprofit consultant. She is the co-author of Ready, Set, Novel and author of multiple novel-writing workbooks for kids and teens. Tavia was the COO of National Novel Writing Month for 10 years and later co-founded Chapter 510, a writing, publishing, and bookmaking center in Oakland, CA. She founded Invisible City Audio Tours, curating three self-guided literary walking tours based in San Francisco. She has worked with McSweeney’s, 826 Valencia, ZYZZYVA, and Watchword Press, and was published in Smokelong Quarterly. At Mesa, Tavia developed an interactive narrative experience that invites participants into a journey of mystery, self-discovery, tenderness, sorrow, and joy.
