Susan Moran is an independent print journalist and contributor (co-host and producer) to KGNU radio’s science show. She lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband and covers the environment, science, health, and business for Popular Science, Discover, New York Times, The Economist, and other publications.
Her project, a magazine feature article and book proposal, centers on this question: In its effort to curb greenhouse gas emissions, how can the nation dramatically ramp up production of renewable energy without sacrificing landscapes, wildlife, and human communities?
