Sierra Crane-Murdoch is a writer, a contributing editor at High Country News, and a current National Health Journalism Fellow through the Annenberg School for Communication at USC. At the Mesa Refuge, she’ll write about what happens to communities after epidemiological investigations fail to solve environmental health problems.
