Rona Fernandez is a writer whose work has appeared in publications such as Rumpus, Yes! Magazine, Fighting for the Future: Cyberpunk and Solarpunk Tales (longlisted for the British Science Fiction Association award for Best Collection of 2023), and the groundbreaking collection, What God is Honored Here? An Anthology on Miscarriage and Infant Loss. She was selected for the 2025 Changemakers Authors Cohort, a project of the Narrative Initiative and the Unicorn Authors Club. Rona is a longtime activist and fundraiser and currently is on staff at the Asian Pacific Environmental Network. At Mesa Refuge, she worked on Red Delta Jolt, a climate fiction novel set in an imagined version of the Bay Area in the year 2061. You can learn more about Rona Fernandez here.
