Mike Rabow

Marion Weber Healing Arts Fellow

Mike Rabow is an award-winning Professor of Clinical Medicine and Urology at UCSF and the Helen Diller Family Chair in Palliative Care. He also works in the Division of Palliative Medicine. Mike is board-certified in internal medicine, hospice, and palliative care. He is the founding director of the MERI Center for Education in Palliative Care. He has also co-facilitated two writing workshops at Mesa Refuge on utilizing poem-writing as an element in one’s healing process. At Mesa, he worked on a collection of poems about his work as a palliative care clinician for people facing cancer.
