Megan Dorame

Megan Dorame is Tongva, indigenous to the Greater Los Angeles area. She holds a BA in anthropology and Native American Studies from the University of Oklahoma, and has been the recipient of fellowships from PEN Emerging Voices and Indigenous Nations Poets. Her poetry has appeared in Los Angeles Times, The Offing, Yellow Medicine Review, and the Netflix series, “City of Ghosts.” At Mesa, she worked on her poetry manuscript Crystal Midden inspired by her time working on archaeological sites with her uncle and father.
