Ayana Zaire Cotton is an artist and cultural worker from Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is the founder of Seeda School, a learning community for worldbuilding and coding through a Black, feminist lens. Ayana braids writing, software, teaching, and performance to engage our collective imagination. While in residence, they worked on a collection of poems exploring the themes of desire, petit marronage, digital kinship, and Black feminist ecologies. You can learn more about Ayana here.
