Virginia Kerns

Virginia Kerns is a writer, teacher and professor emerita of anthropology at the College of William and Mary. She is the author of four books including Scenes from the High Desert: Julian Steward’s Life and Theory, Journeys West: Jane and Julian Steward and Their Guides, Women and the Ancestors: Black Carib Kinship and Ritual and Sally in Three Worlds: An Indian Captive in the House of Brigham Young.
