Vikki Brooks

Vikki Brooks has spent over 50 years as a writer and advocate for women and people of color at the national, state, and local levels. Writing is her vehicle for pursuing a more equitable society. Vikki is a graduate of Antioch School of Law and was admitted to the bars of DC and the U.S. Supreme Court. During her residency, she wrote about three freedmen communities during Reconstruction, exploring issues related to building family and community within a diverse population.
