A lifelong reader (once grounded from books for reading too much) and foodie turned activist, Tiffani Patton transforms her love of food into action through writing, storytelling, and community building. She has championed equitable food systems exploring the intersections of food, culture, and social transformation for over a decade. Through her work at Real Food Media and on the various committees and boards she sits on—HEAL Food Alliance, Foodwise, Mesa Refuge, and People’s Food and Farm Project—she convenes people and amplifies voices for systemic change. Based in Oakland, Tiffani recently co-founded Laughing Gems, a low-intervention wine brand making wines for all peoples and cuisines of the diaspora. She holds dual MPA and MBA degrees in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School.
