Tanea Lunsford Lynx

Tanea Lunsford Lynx is a fourth generation San Franciscan. She graduated from Columbia University in 2013 and from California Institute of Integral Studies in 2016 with a MA in Anthropology and Social Change. She is an alum of VONA and a Lambda Literary fellow. Tanea was recently published in Foglifter and the Lambda Literary Anthology. She has more than 10 years of experience as a performing artist, curator, activist and educator. At the Mesa, she will work on Sanctuary City, a novel that explores Black life in a rapidly, violently gentrifying city.
