Stan Yogi
Alum 2007, Board of DirectorsStan Yogi, a senior consultant with Klein & Roth Consulting, has nearly 30 years of experience with non-profit organizations in fundraising and grantmaking. He was director of planned giving at the ACLU of Northern California for 13 years. Prior to joining the ACLU staff, he was a program officer for California Humanities, a statewide organization that awards grants for cultural and educational programs. Stan has served on the boards of Horizons Foundation (the San Francisco Bay Area’s LGBT community foundation), where he was board president, and Northern California Grantmakers. He is the co-author (with Elaine Elinson) of the award-winning book, Wherever There’s a Fight: How Runaway Slaves, Suffragists, Immigrants, Strikers, and Poets Shaped Civil Liberties in California. He is the co-author, with Laura Atkins, of Fred Korematsu Speaks Up, a book for young readers. He is the co-editor of Highway 99: A Literary Journey Through California’s Great Central Valley. Stan was a Mesa Refuge resident in 2007.
