Sarah McBride

Sarah McBride is a San Francisco-based journalist whose work focuses on the behavior of entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. She has covered Silicon Valley ageism, pattern-matching and gender issues; the false promises offered by coding schools; and wrongdoing at privately-backed companies. Currently at Bloomberg News, she has also worked for Reuters, NPR, and the Wall Street Journal in Washington DC, Los Angeles, and Hong Kong. At the Mesa Refuge, Sarah wrote about the unintended consequences of Silicon Valley’s hero worship of innovation.
