Penelope Moffet

Alum 1998

Born in Lorain, Ohio, Penelope Moffet has lived most of her life in Southern California. She is the author of two chapbooks, Keeping Still and It Isn’t That They Mean to Kill You. Individual poems have been published in many journals, both print and online, including Verse-Virtual, The Rise Up Review, The Missouri Review, Permafrost, Natural Bridge, Poets Reading the News and The Ekphrastic Review.

She has been awarded residencies at Dorland Mountain Arts Colony in Temecula, CA, The Helen R. Whiteley Center and Alderworks Alaska, as well as the Mesa Refuge. She has given readings in many venues, including Beyond Baroque in Venice, California.
