Nina Pick is the author of The Mind-Body Guide to the Twelve Steps: Finding Joy, Sensuality, and Pleasure in Recovery–Integrative Spiritual and Somatic Practices for Healing from Trauma and Addiction, a trauma-sensitive companion to the Twelve Steps. The book offers body-based exercises for deepening your recovery, expanding your spiritual practice, preventing relapse, and understanding the root of your addiction. Nina is also the author of a chapbook, À Luz and a founding editor of Mount Vision Press and the Inverness Almanac. Her poems appear in a variety of publications, including Bombay Gin, Tule Review, and the Dark Mountain anthologies. During her time at Mesa Refuge she worked on a cross-genre project on women and reproduction in the age of ecological catastrophe. Nina is one of two 2016 Poetry Fellows.
