Minal Hajratwala

Minal Hajratwala is an author, writing coach and co-founder of The (Great) Indian Poetry Collective. Her books include Leaving India: My Family’s Journey from Five Villages to Five Continents, Bountiful Instructions for Enlightenment, Out! Stories from the New Queer India, and Moon Fiji (forthcoming). A graduate of Stanford University, she has been a Fulbright fellow and a Columbia University arts journalism fellow. While at the Mesa Refuge, Minal worked on a speculative novel about caste and predation in an alternative India.
