Loubna Mrie

Loubna Mrie is a Syrian photographer, journalist, and writer. She covered the Syrian war as a photojournalist for Reuters from 2012-2014. Currently based in New York, she is a frequent commentator on Syrian and Middle Eastern affairs. Her work has been published in The Nation, Time Magazine, and New Republic. She recently graduated from New York University with a MA in Near Eastern Studies. At the Mesa Reuge, Loubna worked on her memoir of the Syrian war.
