Kim Todd
Alum 2012Kim Todd’s most recent book, Sensational: The Hidden History of America’s Girl Stunt Reporters will be published by HarperCollins in 2021. Kim is also the author of Sparrow (Reaktion Books 2012); Chrysalis, Maria Sibylla Merian and the Secrets of Metamorphosis (Harcourt 2007); and Tinkering with Eden, a Natural History of Exotic Species in America (W.W. Norton 2001). Her essays and articles have appeared in Orion, Smithsonian, Sierra and High Country News, among other places. Her essay, The Island Wolves, was selected for Best American Science and Nature Writing 2018.
Kim is an associate professor in the MFA program at the University of Minnesota and a senior fellow with the Environmental Leadership Program.
