K. Lauren de Boer

K. Lauren de Boer is an essayist, poet and composer living in the Shasta Bioregion of the North American continent. He is currently visiting professor in the Integrative Learning Program in Eco-Cosmology at the Institute for Educational Studies at Endicott College. For nearly ten years he was Executive Editor of EarthLight Magazine, an international publication exploring ecology, spirituality and cosmology that had its beginnings with the Society of Friends (Quakers) Committee on Unity with Nature.

He is the author of Ecotherapy, which was published by Sierra Club Books, and Courting the Wild: Love Affairs with the Land. He has published essays and poetry in a number of magazines and anthologies,  Parabola Magazine, the Ecozoic Reader, Yes! Magazine and several more. His book of ninety-five poems, Where It Comes From, explores themes of nature and the human spirit.
