James G. Lewis

James G. Lewis is the staff historian at the Forest History Society, where he researches and writes about forest and conservation history for print, film and digital media. He is an executive producer for the documentary film America’s First Forest: Carl Schenck and the Asheville Experiment and the author of The Forest Service and The Greatest Good: A Centennial History.
