Elizabeth is an American author of three novels, a poetry collection, and most recently, a book of nonfiction, Survivor Café: The Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory. Elizabeth’s books have been translated into ten languages and won international awards; her work has been featured in the New York Times Magazine, Elle, the San Francisco Chronicle and others. At the Mesa, she will work on Third Ear: How Deep Listening (Re)Connects Us, a nonfiction investigation into the art and science of paying close attention to the messages surrounding us.
