Edward Pennick

Edward Pennick works to provide self-help economic opportunities and hope for many low-income communities across the South, through the only organization in the Southeast that has as its primary objectives the retention of Black owned land and the use of cooperatives for land-based economic development. He is an expert with extensive experience on various land, business, rural, and agricultural issues as they relate to minority farmers, specifically Black farmers, and has testified before Congress on behalf of a coalition of minority farmers on the 2008 Farm Bill.
