Dan Barker, a former Christian minister, is the author of numerous books dealing with freethought and religion, including Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America’s Leading Atheists; Life Driven Purpose; Mere Morality; Free Will Explained; GOD: The Most Unpleasant Character in All Fiction, and Maybe Yes, Maybe No: A Guide For Young Skeptics. He is currently co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and co-founder of The Clergy Project. A member of the Delaware Tribe (Lenape) of American Indians, Dan is also a professional jazz pianist and songwriter. At the Mesa, Dan will work on two projects/new books, The End of Worship and The Atheist Guide to the Koran.
