Christopher Shaw

Christopher Shaw retired from teaching creative writing at Middlebury College in 2018. From 2007-2014 he co-directed the Middlebury Fellowships in Environmental Journalism. His novel The Power Line came out in 2020, and 2021 will bring his memoir The Crazy Wisdom: A Story of Friendship.

He is a former editor of Adirondack Life magazine, and his book Sacred Monkey River: A Canoe Trip With the Gods came out in late summer 2000. At the Mesa Refuge Christopher worked on a volume about the Nunavut the new native province carved out of Canada’s former Northwest Territories.
