After an unexpected encounter with a girl rescued from slavery, she has spent the last ten years working with and on behalf of survivors of human trafficking. While at Mesa Refuge, she worked on Slaying the Monster of Modern Slavery, a practical guide that offers solutions and inspires communities and individuals to take action against this heinous crime.
