Britt Wray

Britt Wray is a science storyteller. She is the author of Rise of the Necrofauna: The Science, Ethics and Risks of De-Extinction, co-host of the BBC podcast Tomorrow’s World and a 2019 TED Resident. Her writing has appeared in Nautilus, The Globe and Mail, OneZero, and BBC Future. Britt has a PhD in Science Communication from the University of Copenhagen, and her doctoral research was awarded the 2018 Society for the Social Studies of Science Making & Doing Award. She has been a visiting scholar at NYU’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. At the Mesa Refuge, she worked on a nonfiction book that explores the mental health, psychological, and emotional implications of the ecological crisis (2021).
