Ben Ehrenreich

Ben is a critically acclaimed novelist (Ether, 2011 and The Suitors, 2006), short story author (Three Stories about Love and Other Creatures of the Deep, 2007), and journalist whose articles appear regularly in The Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, The Village Voice, Los Angeles Magazine, and other publications. He is winner of the PEN Center USA Literary Award in Journalism in 2012 and recipient of the Headlands Center for the Arts Alumni Artist Award for 2011. He has spent the last year and a half living and writing in the West Bank as the Middle East Correspondent for the Los Angeles Review of Books. While at the Mesa Refuge he worked on his first book of nonfiction, a work about life under Israeli occupation.
