Toby Symington Sacred Advocacy Fellowship

Anna Rossi, an Episcopal priest, liturgist, and interfaith advocate, is the Canon Precentor and Director of Interfaith Engagement at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. She has written liturgical texts, prayers, and hymn texts that reflect the embodied justice and love of God, and the dignity and diversity of the whole creation. Anna holds degrees from California Institute of Integral Studies and Claremont School of Theology. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Interfaith Council. When she needs to stoke the writing embers, Anna starts with 17 syllables, a haiku. At Mesa, Anna worked on new hymn texts to address areas of social justice and dignity of indigenous, Black, immigrant, trans, female, and other minoritized populations. Anna is the Toby Symington Sacred Advocacy Fellow.
