Angela Hume

Angela Hume is a poet and critic living in Oakland, California. She is the author of the book Middle Time and the chapbooks Melos, The Middle, and Second Story of Your Body. Her research and critical writing explore intersections between 20th and 21st century “lyric” poetry, women’s writing, and ecological consciousness. Her articles appear in such journals as Contemporary Literature, ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment, Evental Aesthetics, and Jacket2. In 2013 she co-organized the first-ever Conference on Ecopoetics in Berkeley, CA.
