Andrea Lampros

Andrea Lampros is the communications director at the Human Rights Center at UC Berkeley School of Law and manager of the Human Rights Investigations Lab. An alumna of UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism, she spent more than a decade working as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor, and freelance writer. She contributed a chapter about the labor movement to The Real Las Vegas: Life Beyond the Strip (Oxford University Press). She has written for the San Francisco Chronicle, Huffington Post, California Journal, Diablo magazine, and other regional publications.
Prior to joining the Human Rights Center, was a principal editor and chief proposal writer on the marketing and communications team at Berkeley’s University Relations.
She also worked as a grassroots organizer for human rights in Central America and for the rights of immigrants and refugees. Lampros recently completed a certificate in digital media at UC Berkeley’s Advanced Media Institute.
