Join internationally known author and teacher Lauren Artress in conversation with Mesa Refuge Executive Director Susan Page Tillett about how the metaphor of the labyrinth and the archetype of the Grail Legend can spark the writer’s imagination and give form to the journey. They will discuss Lauren’s new book, The Path of the Holy Fool: How the Labyrinth Ignites Our Visionary Powers, which she worked on at the Mesa Refuge. The session will include some guided meditation and writing exercises.
The Reverend Dr. Lauren Artress (Mesa Refuge Alum and Alice Dorrance Spiritual Writing Fellow 2016) is author of several books including Walking a Sacred Path: Rediscovering the Labyrinth as a Spiritual Practice. She is an international teacher and founder of Veriditas, a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing people to the healing, meditative powers of the labyrinth. She received the Gandhi, King, Ideka Peace Award in 2000.
