Zoe FitzGerald Carter is a Berkeley-based journalist and author who has written for publications including New York Times, Salon, Vogue, and San Francisco Chronicle. Her memoir, Imperfect Endings, is about her mother’s decision to end her life. She is currently working on a book about race, Facebook, and “elected kinship.” She also writes music and performs with her band, Do Wrong Right.
