Yeva Johnson is a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet, musician, and physician. Her work has appeared in Bellingham Review, Essential Truths: The Bay Area in Color Anthology, and Yemassee. She is the author of the chapbook Analog Poet Blues. Yeva is a past Show Us Your Spines Artist-in-Residence (SF Public Library) and poet in QTPOC4SHO, a San Francisco artists collective. At Mesa Refuge, she worked on A Weaving, which includes poems of bodies, of kinship, and of water, earth, and sky into a verbal heirloom of a queer BIPOC woman’s expression of what it means to lead a life of worth.
