Natashia Deón, JD, is a NAACP Image Award Nominee and author of the novel, GRACE, which was named a New York Times and Kirkus Review Best Book of the Year. A practicing attorney, law professor, and creator of the L.A.-based reading series Dirty Laundry Lit, Natashia is the recipient of a PEN Center USA Emerging Voices Fellowship. Her writing has appeared in American Short Fiction, Buzzfeed, LA Review of Books, The Rumpus, and other places. She is also author of the The Perishing and Birds of War.
