Mike Clark is the Executive Director of the Greater Yellowstone Coalition, Bozeman, Montana, a position he has held twice over the past 18 years. He has been a director of an NGO eight different times over the past 41 years, including stints at Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, and the Highlander Center in Tennessee. He has served on over 25 non-profit boards and has worked as a consultant to many environmental and social justice groups and numerous private foundations. His life partner Barbara Rusmore (a management consultant, educator, and landscape painter) and dog companion Sophia live in Bozeman and enjoy hiking, fishing, and floating western rivers.
