Hannah Jayanti

Hannah Jayanti is a documentary filmmaker, organizer, and educator exploring ethics and politics through questions of landscape, listening, memory, time, capitalism, and interdependence. Her work has screened at Sheffield DocFest, The New Yorker Festival, Museum of the Moving Image, Smithsonian, and UnionDocs, and her work has been supported by Sundance Institute, Sundance Edit & Story Lab, Tribeca Film Institute, and New York Council on the Arts, among others. 

She is an advocate for free and low-cost media training and literacy. At Mesa she worked on Topography, a nonfiction project that fragments across time, species, scales, and histories to reveal how different perspectives shape the land and its futures. You can learn more about Hannah Jayanti here.
