Inspired by liberation pedagogics of the Zapatistas and other revolutionary movements, Charlotte Saenz invites fellow artists, scientists and peoples of conscience everywhere to practice other ways of seeing and listening to the subjugated knowledge and histories of peoples, creatures, and elements of our world. She is part of local efforts to rematriate land back to indigenous communities through Deep Medicine Circle, a Bay Area farming-as-medicine organization committed to healing the wounds of colonialism. At the Mesa Refuge, Charlotte worked on a story line for a book or community education booklet on Zapatista Seed Pedagogics.
