Ben Ehrenreich is a critically acclaimed novelist, short story author, and journalist, whose articles appear regularly in Los Angeles Times, New York Times, The Village Voice, Los Angeles Magazine, and other publications. He is the author of Ether, Hold Still, and Three Stories About Love and Other Creatures of the Deep. Ben is the winner of the PEN Center USA Literary Award in Journalism in 2012 and recipient of the Headlands Center for the Arts Alumni Artist Award for 2011.
Ben lived and wrote in the West Bank as the Middle East Correspondent for the Los Angeles Review of Books. While at the Mesa Refuge he worked on his first book of nonfiction, The Way to the Spring: Life and Death in Palestine.
