Steve Clemons

Steve Clemons is a journalist and blogger who currently serves as editor-at-large for The Hill. He previously served as editor-at-large for Quartz and The Atlantic, and was editor-in-chief of AtlanticLIVE. He is also Director of the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation where he previously served as Executive Vice President, and is the former director of the Japan Policy Research Institute which he co-founded with Chalmers Johnson. Until 2015, he published a political blog, The Washington Note, which Time selected as one of the best blogs of the year in 2010. Steve’s work has been published in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, New Republic, and the Asian Journal of Political Science.
