Since the publication of his first volume of verse, Turtle, Swan, in 1987, Mark Doty has been recognized as one of the most accomplished poets in America. Mark is the author of nine books of poetry and three memoirs and has taught at Princeton, Columbia and the University of Iowa. Hailed for his elegant, intelligent verse, his work includes odes to urban gay life and the effects of the AIDS crisis. Mark is one of two 2016 Poetry Fellows.
