Caroline Woolard

Caroline Woolard is a New York-based artist and organizer. She is the founder of the solidarity economy initiatives including barter networks OurGoods.org and TradeSchool.coop and cultural equity platform BFAMFAPHD.com. Caroline’s work has been written about in the New York Times, The New Yorker, CRAINS and PBS/Art 21. She has been honored with a Rockefeller Cultural Innovation Award, a MacDowell Colony fellowship, the WIRED Smart List and ArtNet’s Top 20 Female Artists. While at the Mesa Refuge, she worked on Growing a Local Peace Economy, a guidebook with daily practices and inspiration, connecting local change practices to global struggles for peace.
