Bidisha Banerjee has been fascinated with the Ganga ever since she pretended, as a child, that shower water was Ganga water. She lives in Oakland, the midpoint between her two homes, Kolkata and Kansas. A social ecologist and embodied leadership coach, she has written for Slate, the Yale Forum for Climate Change and the Media, Triple Canopy, and the Stanford Journal of Law, Science, and Policy. For the last five years, she served as an ethical leadership curriculum designer for Dalai Lama Fellows. At the Mesa Refuge, Bidisha worked on editing Superhuman River: A Biography of the Ganga.
