Join author Lara Bazelon and fellow Mesa Refuge alum Anna Lappé for a lively conversation about her new novel A Good Mother, “a powerhouse legal thriller…an exploration of ambition, responsibility, and the sacrifices of motherhood.”

These two dedicated professionals and mothers will speak candidly about the issues of gender bias, sexuality and culpability that the two young mothers in Lara’s debut novel face.

A Good Mother has just been named one of the New York Times’ June Books to Read! And Lara was interviewed at the Commonwealth Club in May.
